Our very dear friends, the Dischers, recently came down to Florida for a few weeks. We were very excited to be able to spend some time with them. One evening they were able to come out to our house. Sadly, actually more like, shamefully I did not get any pictures of the adults. Anyhow, here are some of the pictures that I did take throughout the evening. :)
"For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11 (NAS) And so the journey continues...

A Visit With the Dischers
Good Old-Fashioned Sunshine
Here are a few pictures I thought I'd share of my little sister soaking up some of that good ol' Florida sunshine! Hope y'all enjoy! :)
My little sis and I are good Florida gals. We own shoes... but you will hardly ever see them on our feet ;)
Ahhh.... relaxation!
It was such a beautiful day!
There Is Sunshine in My Soul
There is Sunshine in my soul today,
More glorious and bright
Than glows in any earthly sky,
For Jesus is my light.
O there's Sunshine, blessed sunshine,
When the peaceful happy moments roll,
When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in my soul.
There is music in my soul today,
A carol to my King;
And Jesus, listening can hear,
The songs I cannot sing.
O there's Sunshine, blessed sunshine,
When the peaceful happy moments roll,
When Jesus shows His smiling face,
There is sunshine in my soul.
In Christ Jesus,

Fall Colors
On one of my walks in our neighboring field I discovered this little patch of fall.
Fall colors in Spring? Only in Florida... ;)
is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory.
~Isaiah 6:3~
Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto Him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
Sing unto Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
For the word of the Lord is right; and all His works are done in truth.
He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

Fun and Games with the Franklin Kids
Here are a few pictures taken over the last few days of some of the different ways we have fun.
Daniel and Emilie love to play board games...

Monopoly is one of Daniel's favorites. (I can't stand it personally ;) But Em is sweet and plays with him :)

"You roll your dice you move your mice... nobody gets hurt" ;)
Mousetrap is one of Emilie's favorites...
And kind big brother gladly plays with her :)

Another favorite Emilie past time is playing with her barbie dolls.
"They could have danced all night....!"
