A Visit With the Dischers

Our very dear friends, the Dischers, recently came down to Florida for a few weeks. We were very excited to be able to spend some time with them. One evening they were able to come out to our house. Sadly, actually more like, shamefully I did not get any pictures of the adults. Anyhow, here are some of the pictures that I did take throughout the evening. :)

This was supposed to be a "conversational" shot, but Peter Jr. here detected the camera instantly and blocked her face, while Paul drags Emilie's arm behind her ;)

This balloon got plenty of action that night.

Every time that Paul would throw the balloon into the air he would throw back his little head to watch as it came back down. So cute!

By the time this picture was taken, it was quite late and Markie and I were both very tired, but very excited to be with each other, hence the extremely hyper expression on my face. ;)

Good Old-Fashioned Sunshine

These flowers are simply lovely aren't they? I love flowers. But it is important to note that they do not last.

Fall Colors

On one of my walks in our neighboring field I discovered this little patch of fall.

Fall colors in Spring? Only in Florida... ;)

And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy,

Fun and Games with the Franklin Kids

Here are a few pictures taken over the last few days of some of the different ways we have fun.
Daniel and Emilie love to play board games...

Monopoly is one of Daniel's favorites. (I can't stand it personally ;) But Em is sweet and plays with him :)
