This past Saturday, Sadie, Emilie, and I were invited to attend Mary Stricklen's 16th birthday tea party. The girls were to come as their favorite literary character (pre 1950).

Well, pictures of the famous "Literary Tea"!
I am delighted to get to see them, and everyone looks so lovely in their costumes!

It was such a fun day!

I had a wonderful time, too, Kellipaige! That was our big, pre-Christmas-trip-to-Missouri weekend! It has been our privilege to give the granddaughters a "sweet sixteen" tea for their birthday, and they can get really creative in the themes they choose. All the more fun!
We were sorry Patrick missed out on the fun and hope he is feeling better.
Love,
Mrs. Frodge
As I said in our post, "That Miss Scarlet resembles a Miss Scarlet a few years and a few pounds down the road..."
Oh Well, it was fun! Thanks for posting it in such a timely fashion. Sorry to be so late in commenting. Loved the day with you!
